Synopsis: A sexual assault was reported to MSU Police on 1/23/2022. This incident is believed to have occurred at Mayo Hall between the hours of midnight and 3am, in the victim’s dorm room. The suspect was described by the victim as an unknown male, with tan skin, and curly hair, approximately 5’9″ tall. Please contact the MSU Police if you have any information regarding this incident.

This is an MSU ALERT from the Michigan State University Police Department regarding an incident in the City of East Lansing.
At or near City of East Lansing the East Lansing Police report;
This is a follow-up message to the emergency alert. At about 7:00pm, a subject entered the Admiral Station on Grand River Ave. at Woodmere in East Lansing. The subject brandished a silver colored handgun and left the store on foot. Shortly after, a gunshot was heard to the south of Grand River Ave. The subject is described by witnesses as a black male, 40-50 years old wearing a green coat, black jeans, and a black face mask. Synopsis: Reported to PD at 2:37PM: Victim was walking near Berkey Hall when she was approached by the suspect. The suspect pushed the victim and retrieved money from the victim’s coat pocket and was last seen south bound towards E Circle Dr. No weapons were seen or indicated.
Suspect Information: White male, 40-49 yo, 5’9 to 5’10, average build, grey scruffy facial hair, wearing a blue rain jacket over a green MSU hoodie, and possibly blue jeans.
