Location: East side of Abbot Road near MSU Union

Description of Incident: On September 12, 2024, Michigan State University Police received a report of Sexual Assault that occurred at the East Lansing campus – East side of Abbot Road near MSU Union. Unknown direction of travel from the scene.

Suspect Information: College age Black male 6 foot to 6 foot 2 inches tall, skinny build and light complexion, short tight curly hair, prescription glasses last seen wearing dark blue shirt, khaki shorts and backpack, black and white Nike tennis shoes.

Vehicle Information: No known vehicle

UPDATE 9/20/24 @ 09:05 A.M. MSU Police and Public Safety have released additional photos of the suspect and are asking for assistance in identifying this suspect. UPDATE! EAST LANSING LIGHTNING ALERT EXPIRED!

Due to the MSU home football game we are informing you the National Weather Service has advised lightning strikes have moved out of the area. You may resume normal outdoor activities. Shelter locations located at Wells Hall, Old Horticulture, Natural Science, Bessey Hall, Jenison Field House, Munn Ice Arena, Engineering Building, and Auditorium have closed. This is the last update for this incident.
