Location: Armstrong Hall and Bailey Hall
Description of Incident: On September 17, 2026 at , Michigan State University Police received a report of Series of Motor Vehicle Thefts that occurred at the East Lansing campus - Armstrong Hall and Bailey Hall. A pattern has developed regarding the theft of electric scooters. This Timely Warning is being sent as electric scooters are considered motor vehicles for purposes of The Clery Act.

Safety Tips: Motor Vehicle Thefts - We encourage community members to reduce their chances of being a victim of motor vehicle theft by: securing doors and windows, parking in well-lit areas, consider placing u-lock through rear tire of moped, keep valuables out of sight.
